GVF's 35th Anniversary Recognized By the Pennsylvania Senate

GVF, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 and dedicated to inspiring mobility choices for all, is celebrating its 35th Anniversary in 2025! In recognition of this milestone, the Pennsylvania Senate acknowledged GVF's work with a citation.
"Whereas, The Senate of Pennsylvania takes great pride in recognizing those organizations which, through adherence to the highest standards of service, contribute in a meaningful way toward a better and more productive society; and
Whereas, The Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association (GVF) is celebrating the momentous occasion of its thirty-fifth anniversary, and;
Whereas, Founded in 1990, GVF is dedicated to improving the climate and overall quality of life through transportation demand management programs that help reduce the number of single-occupancy vehicles through education, legislative priorities and ordinances. It also works to provide the public with safe and reliable transportation choices and infrastructure that supports residents of all ages and abilities. To its great credit, GVF has been recognized by the Best Workplaces for Commuters program, and is the recipient of numerous other awards and accolades, including the Main Line Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award, The Montgomery County Planning Commission Charles J. Tornetta Planning Advocate Award, the American Planning Association Pennsylvania Chapter Planning Excellence Award for Public Outreach and several awards from the Association of Commuter Transportation. The organization has developed a strong reputation for the highest quality of service throughout its history. By steady adherence to the principles of fairness, reliability, and integrity, GVF has become a leader in the community and a model that is worthy of emulation. Over the years, those in leadership positions, as well as staff members, have contributed in a tremendous way to its growth and development.
Now therefore, the Senate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania congratulates the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association upon its richly deserved recognition; extends warmest wishes for a future replete with ever-increasing success;
And directs that a copy of this document, sponsored by the Senators Carolyn T. Comitta, Amanda M. Cappelletti, Maria Collett, Vincent J. Hughes, Katie J. Muth and Tracy Pennycuick be transmitted to the Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Association, 640 Freedom Business Center Drive, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania."
