GVF's Insights Event Features Congresswoman Houlahan, Innovations in Transportation, and the 2026 Top TDM Professionals Under 40

GVF, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 and dedicated to inspiring mobility choices for all, hosted its Insights Event. GVF's signature events, such as the Insights Event, provide an opportunity for executive professionals and elected officials to network and hear from prominent speakers and leaders in the transportation industry.

The Insights Event celebrated innovation in transportation and mobility, and looked toward the future with the recognition of 46 Top TDM Professionals Under 40.

Bob Hart, General Manager, King of Prussia Mall and GVF's Board President, opened the event and welcomed the crowd of over 150 transportation partners, supporters, and award recipients.

Bob introduced GVF's Executive Director, Rob Henry, who introduced GVF's 2026-2029 Strategic Plan to extend GVF's impact in Southeastern Pennsylvania and beyond.

GVF's goals for the 2026-2029 fiscal years include:

• Increase revenue by 3% to 5% annually over the next three years

• Increase awareness and education about Transportation Demand Management (TDM) among key stakeholders

• Advance GVF as a TDM advocacy leader and trusted resource across the Commonwealth

Representative Daley receives the GVF Legacy Award

Rob also presented the GVF Legacy Award to State Representative Mary Jo Daley, in recognition of her years of support. Representative Daley is set to retire at the end of the year.

Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan delivered the Keynote address, introduced by Pam Sarne McCormick, Director of Legislative and Community Affairs at SEPTA and Vice-Chair of GVF's Advocacy Committee. Congresswoman Houlahan urged attendees to continue to advocate at the State and Federal levels for legislation that improves mobility in Southeastern Pennsylvania, discussed her role on the Climate Solutions Caucus, and the future of TDM-related legislation.

After the Keynote, State Senator Amanda Cappelletti, Chair of GVF's Innovation Committee, moderated an Innovation Panel featuring leaders in the transportation industry. Allie Slizofski, Director of Transportation - PA, VHB, kicked off the panel by talking about what's coming -- including Waymo in Philadelphia and highly automated vehicles. Shawn Megill Legendre, Manager, Regional Trails Program, DVRPC, discussed how the industry is responding to these innovations, and Stephanie Gantz, Section Manager, ITS and Emerging Mobility, HNTB, provided perspective on how we connect these emerging technologies to the existing system and use it to make sure that innovation actually expands mobility choices and benefits communities.

GVF’s Deputy Executive Director, Maureen Farrell, wrapped up the event by recognizing GVF’s 2026 Top TDM Professionals Under 40. To date, GVF has recognized over 370 young professionals who are working to find creative solutions to improve our quality of life through engineering, planning, marketing campaigns, and the development of commuting alternative programs that are shifting behavioral change.
