ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUTER TRANSPORTATION (ACT)

The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT), is an international association and leading advocate for commuter transportation and transportation demand management (TDM). Through advocacy, education, and networking efforts, ACT strives to improve commuters' lives, communities' livability, and businesses' economic growth.           

 

GVF has been involved in and supported ACT for almost two decades. GVF leaders hold prominent positions within ACT:

GVF is involved in ACT’s Public Policy & Advocacy group. Members of ACT’s Executive Committee travel to Washington, DC, to meet with several high-level officials in Congress, U.S. Treasury Department, Federal Highway Administration, and Federal Transit Administration to discuss several issues of importance to our members.​
