GVF, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 and dedicated to inspiring mobility choices for all, hosted its 36th Annual Meeting. GVF's signature events, such as the 36th Annual Meeting, provide an opportunity for executive professionals and elected officials to network and hear from prominent speakers and leaders in the transportation industry.

This year's event recognized GVF's 2026 Leadership Awards and featured a panel of expert speakers who gave policy and project updates at the federal, state, and local levels. Ken McLeod, Public Policy Director at the League of American Bicyclists, discussed upcoming opportunities to advocate for active transportation at the federal level. Jody Holton, Chair of the Transportation Advisory Committee, discussed current and future transportation projects that affect all Pennsylvanians. David Tedjeske, Associate Vice President of Public Safety & Chief of Police at Villanova University, detailed the process required to establish a shuttle service between Villanova's main campus and the recently acquired Cabrini campus.
