GVF partnered with Bowman, Brandywine Realty Trust, Pennoni, RK&K, TransNet, and Urban Engineers on their 14th Annual Food Drive. The main drop-off location was in the lobby of 640 Freedom Business Center, a Brandywine property and home to both GVF and RK&K. The Bowman, Pennoni, TransNet, and Urban Engineers offices served as additional drop-off sites. In addition, GVF was grateful for food drop-offs from collections from A.D. Marble, BAS, and TPD.

The food collection was distributed to the Norristown Area School District families at Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy and Blockson Middle School. GVF is currently working with both schools on the My School in Motion Program.

TransNet donated the use of one of their vehicles to collect the food from the collection sites and bring it to the schools. In total, over 125 bags of food were collected-- completely covering the floor and seats of a 14-passenger shuttle and exceeding last year's collection! We are thankful for the generosity of our partners and local businesses who contributed to the food drive to help feed local families. The team at TransNet said "All of us at TransNet were thrilled to help make the magic happen at this year’s GVF Food Drive, and so grateful for all of the community support!"

"I'm always amazed at the generosity of our partners, colleagues, friends and neighbors. This year it was wonderful to see so many come together to donate over 125 bags of food that were filled to the top. No one should ever have to go hungry and I am very grateful for all the kindness that we were able to share." - Rob Henry, Executive Director, GVF
