King of Prussia - GVF and its partners kick off its 8th Annual Holiday Food Drive. The food drive will run until the December 17th. GVF, RK&K, McMahon Associates, TransNet and Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel are collecting packaged non-perishable food items to donate to Philabundance.
Philabundance is a non-profit that provides nearly 90,000 people in the region with food each week, in an effort to end hunger across Pennsylvania and New Jersey communities. For 8 consecutive years, GVF and its partners have come together to fight hunger and help those in need.
Through private-public partnerships, GVF is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on improving mobility throughout our region.
"As important as it is for people to have access to reliable transportation, it is imperative that people have better access to food. Through the incredible efforts of Philadundance in helping to end hunger throughout our region, we are thrilled to have our partners collaborating with us on this important program. We are stronger when we are working together, thank you RK&K, McMahon Associates, TransNet and the Sheraton Hotel, for partnering with us on such an important cause," said Rob Henry, Executive Director, GVF.
Donation Items Can Include:
* Canned goods
* Jarred proteins (peanut butter, almond butter, etc.)
* Jelly, jams or preserves
* Pasta, rice & dry mixes
* Breakfast foods (hot or cold cereal, bars, oatmeal, etc.)
