GVF, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 and dedicated to inspiring mobility choices for all, hosted its 35th Annual Meeting. GVF's signature events, such as the 35th Annual Meeting, provide an opportunity for executive professionals and elected officials to network and hear from prominent speakers and leaders in the transportation industry.

GVF's 35th Annual Meeting was a celebration of GVF's 35 years of transportation advocacy, innovation, and strategic partnerships. Executive Director Rob Henry reflected on the milestone:

“As GVF celebrates its 35th anniversary, this milestone reflects our long-standing commitment to innovation, partnerships, and continuing to be a thought-leader in helping to shape the future of mobility. We were pleased to honor our 2025 Leadership Award recipients and have a thoughtful panel discussion with prominent leaders at the federal, state and regional level at our 35th Annual Meeting.”- Rob Henry, GVF's Executive Director

The panel consisted of Congresswoman Madeleine Dean, PennDOT Transportation Secretary Mike Carroll, SEPTA Interim General Manager Scott Sauer, and DVRPC Executive Director Ariella Maron. The panel was moderated by Rob Henry, GVF's Executive Director, and the conversation revolved around the importance of funding transit and mobility projects in Southeast Pennsylvania. The region contributes significantly to the entire state's economy, with approximately 40% of statewide economic activity, 38% of Pennsylvania's tax base, and 32% of the state's population occupying only 5% of the land (Economy League of Greater Philadelphia).
