King of Prussia >> The Greater Valley Forge Transportation Management Assoc. (GVF) has added another partner in the agency’s efforts to improve transportation and infrastructure throughout the region.
RETTEW, an engineering firm headquartered in Lancaster and with an office in Conshohocken, has been named to GVF’s growing list of partners.
“We truly appreciate the support of RETTEW as a new partner and we look forward to working with them towards our common goal of improving mobility and infrastructure throughout the region,” Rob Henry, executive director, GVF said in a press release.
GVF works with the private and public sectors to advocate and educate employers, their employees and residents on Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies, according to Maureen Farrell, deputy executive director, GVF.
“Through transportation planning, data analysis, we can develop customized reports for large employers identifying where their employees are commuting from. We will also advocate, on their behalf, for infrastructure projects that may positively (or negatively) impact their community or business,” she said.
Farrell added that the needs of each partner are discussed early on in the relationship. GVF then helps the organizations implement the strategies.
Farrell added that the partners are important to the efforts of GVF.
