SEPTA is planning to present the King of Prussia Rail Project’s Refined Route during a webinar that will take place on Tuesday, December 1, writes the Patch.
Refinements made over the past three years include a detailed engineering analysis of the rail alignment and guideway design.
They also include minor modifications to the stations’ locations and design, initial assessments of potential impacts on property and environment, studies of rail operations, and other details.
These design refinements are the direct result of community input provided through comments at public hearings and other stakeholder meetings, coordination with property owners who will be affected by the project, engineering criteria, and continued review of the existing land use and future opportunities for development.
Upper Merion Township residents along with King of Prussia employers and employees and current Norristown High Speed Line riders will find this webinar of particular interest to them.
Leslie S. Richards, General Manager of SEPTA, will be one of the speakers.
Anyone interested in viewing the webinar need to register to receive the link. The registration process includes an option to submit questions for the speakers.
