What Can We Do For You?
GVF will conduct a Commute Analysis Report, which includes a zip code analysis to see where employees are commuting from, a survey of employee's commuting habits and from there set up an event to establish carpools and vanpools. We can also come out to give an overview of public transportation options in your specific area. Contact Carissa Bobenchik at email@example.com today to set up your expo!
GVF can work with your community to develop a
Pedestrian Mobility Study.
Is your town a walkable community? Is it possible to move about without using a car? Many towns in suburban Philadelphia have disconnected sidewalk networks, making it challenging and in some cases, dangerous for pedestrians. GVF can evaluate your network, identifying the gaps, and prioritize the needed improvements. Once the analysis is complete, we will work with your community to seek out funding to turn the plan into a completed network.
Parking often consumes the largest amount of land in suburban developments. Shared parking is a way to reduce the need for excessively large parking lots. Our parking inventories evaluate the existing conditions and provide accurate counts of the parking availability and the parking use. With the inventory, your municipality will have the right information to determine if changing parking requirements is right for your community.
Public transit is an important amenity for any community. Access to transit determines where people choose to live and work. A transit study will take into account the changes within your community and identify where transit service may be needed. With a completed evaluation, we work with SEPTA to implement changes, making your community more transit friendly.
Travel Shed Analysis
Chances are, your employees drive to work...alone. Imagine being able to provide your employees with options that save them money, make them less stressed and more productive. With little more than the zip codes for each of your employees, GVF can analyze their commute patterns, identify groups that can share a ride to work, and develop a program to reduce your company's daily commute.
Public Outreach Campaigns
GVF has a long history of providing public information related to regional traffic disruptions. We have been the recipient of multiple contracts from PennDOT to provide project related informational services. We have catered our approach specific to the need to best address the concerns of the traveling public. Learn more about our Public Outreach Campaigns.
Mobility Alternatives Program (MAP)
If you or most of your employees drive alone to work,
help everyone find a better way to get to work in Southeastern PA. Whether it's
on transit, in a carpool or vanpool, or even working from home, MAP has
information on what the alternatives are and how companies and individuals can
take advantage of them. Plus, there's information on incentives, emergency rides
home, flex time and parking management.
