I SEPTA Philly showcases ease of using SEPTA
Posted by Carissa Bobenchik July 5, 2012Even if you're a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area, you may be unsure how to use the different modes SEPTA offers to get around. Maybe you only use the Regional Rail system, because although you may know there are subways, trolleys and buses, you may avoid them because you're not sure how to use them or where they go.
SEPTA is working hard to showcase the ease, cleanliness, safety and affordability of its system, and to do that, launched its I SEPTA PHILLY Campaign: www.iseptaphilly.com.
Although the program is aimed at young adults (18-34), the site offers a variety of tools to make using SEPTA friendlier and less confusing for everyone. For example, there are four "how-to" videos, which are short and informative clips on how to use each mode. Never been on a SEPTA bus before? Just click on the bus video to learn how to use tokens, read a schedule and request a stop. All modes are featured in separate videos, so it's fast and easy to learn the basics of each mode.
The site also features personal stories of how and why people use SEPTA to get around. This site is a great resource for everyone, but especially those who need more information on how to use our public transportation system. Log on today to learn more!
