Aqua Pennsylvania to Close Militia Hill Road for Water Main Replacement in Whitemarsh Township
June 8, 2012 · Pennsylvania Department of TransportationAqua Pennsylvania will replace water a main on Militia Hill Road between Stenton Avenue and Butler Pike in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County beginning June 21, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. Militia Hill Road will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through July 26.
During construction, Militia Hill Road through traffic will be detoured over Flourtown Road, Butler Pike and Joshua Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
